Cash Registers (CASHREG) | The SWEDA and SHARP cash registers. Each cash register is identified by serial number. |

JDASYS | JDA types are all assets associated with the JDA lane registers. There are also JDA computers other than the JDA lane registers that need to be accounted for. Included: - JDA Lane—The pole display, scanner, keyboard, cash drawer, and thermal printer. (The items connected to the computer). You should have a JDA Lane asset for each of the lanes in your store.
Note: Do not add individual asset for these items if they are missing from the list. - PDT 61/6100/6146/9090 8-Line Display Scanner—This is a hand-held cordless scanner with an 8-line yellow/gold LCD display screen. It is shipped with a four battery charging cradle. To find the serial number, open the back cover of the scanner, and remove the battery.
- WR TERM IMGR.CLR.64M.53KY - This is a hand-held scanner with the same features as the item above.
- Stand-alone computers—APPS or TOM machines within JDA.
- Other Terminal Components—Also includes any replacement parts received. Such as replacement scanners, pole display’s etc.
- DELL PCs (or Ace Festiva or similar)—These are the computers (CPU) themselves and are listed separately on the Fixed Asset listing and are identified by serial number.
- Other JDA System Components—The remaining lane assets like monitors, bar code printers, Smart UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply), hub, modem, cables, etc.
Each JDA store will also have a “server” and “router” installed in a rack in either a back room or storeroom. Not Included: - DELL and ACE monitors (CRT’s) are part of “System Components” and will not be listed separately.
- Cabling Services are assets created for JDA installation and survey assets. These are costs associated with the installation of the JDA system. There is no physical asset for them.
- JDA lane register may not all be at the front counter in your store. A lane register may be used for returns, or used in another area of the store. Count the number of JDA lanes on the asset list. Then, count all Dell PC GX150 or Ace Festiva computers in the JDA section of the asset list. These totals should match. Compare the serial number of the PC’s to the asset list.
The remaining JDA and FCS assets on the asset listing are for installation, other components, and any replacements you may have received. |
Leasehold Improvements (LHIMP) | Assets that are physically attached or built into the store. We will NOT be taking these assets with us if we leave the store so they will not appear on the UNAUDITED asset list. Included: - Construction and/or renovation costs we incurred, electrical wiring, drywall, flooring, carpeting, etc.
- Alarm systems that are hard-wired into a store.
- Do not add DMX Music Systems and/or Cabling, as the existing assets are for cabling only. We do not own the actual devices.
- All Use Tax charges for all the asset types are added here. If the asset number associated with the Use Tax asset is not at the store, then the Use Tax asset should also be moved. (Either transferred or retired).
