|Accept Delivery Receiver report|
The Accept Delivery Receiver report includes the following fields:
Qty Expected: Open quantity of a SKU on the PO.
Qty Received: Space for you to write the quantity received. Use the printed report to track the information during receiving and then enter the receiving information in MMS.
Over/Short: Not used by Follett.
Damaged: Not used by Follett.
|Advanced Shipping Notice ASN||Vendors who ship orders to Follett who have a high degree of accuracy may be designated as an ASN Vendor. Designating these vendors as ASN vendors saves time receiving the orders that they ship to Follett. The receiving process for ASN shipments is to scan the bar code on each carton, finalize the session and place the product on the sales floor.|
Non-purchase order; a method of receiving items into inventory that were either paid for in advance or were never on a PO, such as:
|PO (Purchase Order)||Business document/form with specific terms and conditions used to order items from a vendor.|
|Red Zone||Place where all deliveries are placed until detailed receiving has been finished in the system; normally by the back door or receiving dock and varies in size and location.|
The Return to Vendor (RTV) process allows stores to return unsold items and damaged or defective product to the vendor where the product was originally purchased. There are two types of RTVs:
Suggested RTVs - The Home Office produces suggested RTVs for unsold Department 3 merchandise. This includes general books, software and computer products.
Local RTVs - are created by the store to return:
• Locally purchased general books, computer products
• Damaged or defective products from Departments 3-8.
• Product from departments 4-8 that the home office instructs the store to return
• Books related to special events.
|Security Group||Assign various security groups to associates, depending on their status.|
|Transfer||The process of moving merchandise from one FHEG store to another.|
|Trouble Zone||A physical location in the store where deliveries with problems are temporarily placed until the issue is solved.|
