CARP Admin
When assigning user roles in CARP, store management must ensure the following, based on the team member's required access and role at the store:
- An appropriate security group is selected.
- An expiration date is assigned.
In addition, you must:
- Remove users from CARP at the completion of their needed assignment.
- Review user access in CARP monthly to ensure accurate system security.
Security Groups
Follow the procedures outlined below to create and maintain users based on CARP security groups.

Admin Tasks

This function allows you to provide access to a store. However, before you can add a user to a store, the user must have been added to permit CARP Access.
To use this function, you must have the proper security level to access the Admin Menu Link. All regional managers have this access, and the protocol is for the regional manager to add the store manager as an Institutional Admin so the store manager can add users as needed with the appropriate permissions.
System Admins and Home Office Admins will add users by request from departments such as Accounting.
- Click Admin at the top right of the screen.
You will be transferred to the Manage Users screen.
- Click New.
- Complete the User Details screen.
View field definitions.
- Click Save.

This function allows you to edit a user defined to a store.
To use this function, you must have the proper security level to access the Admin Menu link. Typically, only the regional manager or the store manager with Institutional Admin permissions can access Admin Menu link.
- Click Admin at the top right of the screen.
User is transferred to Manager Users option.
The User Configuration screen is displayed. View field definitions.
- Click
on the username you want to change.
- Make changes as needed on the User Details screen.

- Click Save.

To use this function, you must have the proper security level to access the Admin Menu Link. Only the regional manager or the store manager with Institutional Admin permissions can access Admin Menu Link.
- Click Admin at the top right of the screen.
You will be transferred directly to the Manager Users option.
The User Configuration screen is displayed. View field definitions.
- Click
on the username you want to delete.
- Click OK at the message.

This function allows you to search for a user assigned to a store.
You must have the proper security level to access the Admin Menu Link. Only the regional manager or the store manager with Institutional Admin permissions have access to the Admin Menu Link.
- Select Admin at the top right of the screen.
You will be transferred to the Manage Users option.
The User Configuration screen is displayed. View field definitions.
- Select the direction symbol next to Search for Users.
It displays as ^ - Click Search for Users.
- Type all or part of the username or type the user's first or last name.
- Select Search.

The user configuration for a user assigned at a store is available if you have the proper security level to access the Admin Menu Link. The regional manager or the store manager with Institutional Admin permissions can access the Admin Menu Link.
- Select Admin at the top right of the screen.
You will be transferred to the Manage Users option.
The User Configuration screen displays. View field definitions.
- Select the ! to view the User Details Table.
- Select Save.
- Select Save.
