On Demand Ticket Printing (Merchandise and Planograms)
The On Demand Ticket Printing menu provides access to batches created during the receiving process and batches uploaded to your store for planogram tickets. You can also create your own batches when necessary.
On Demand Ticket Printing offers flexibility, where you can sort, create, view, edit, print and delete ticket batches.
Planogram Ticket Batches
On Demand Ticket Printing also allows you to print tickets for planograms using the same process. There are several differences.
- Planogram tickets are automatically uploaded centrally by store. Each store receives only the planogram tickets for their store.
- A separate ticket batch is created for each category of tickets in the planogram, e.g., Salty Snacks 2FT, Bagged Candy 2FT.
- Each uploaded ticket batch remains available for re-print until the next planogram is uploaded. For example, the Salty Snacks 2FT planogram is accessible until a new planogram is uploaded for Salty Snacks 2FT; then, the previoys batch is replaced by the new batch.
- Planogram ticket batches are intermixed with the merchandise tickets, and initially displayed by Batch Number in descending order. You can then sort and filter by the available criteria on the On Demand Ticket Printing u Maintain Ticket Batches screen, e.g., Batch #, Origin, Created Date, Printed Date, Status, Ticket Type, Operator or Printer.
Alpha SKUs
For items exclusive to a specific store, e.g., imprinted items, the SKUs sent in the planogram download are not the actual SKU number. They display as alpha SKUs in the SKU-Description column of Ticket Batch Details. You need to update the alpha SKUs for printing with the actual SKU of the item at your store.
The entire batch of the tickets can be printed. For the alpha SKUs, you need to create a batch and enter the store-specific SKU for those items on the planogram.
The identified items in the screen shot below are examples of how the alpha SKUs display in the Ticket Batch Details u SKU-Description column when uploaded.
