Add a Line Item to an Order

You can add a line to an order on the SODA Picking Confirmation screen. Only team members with intermediate or manager level authorization can add items to an order. The added line item displays on the packing slip when the pick is confirmed. No email notification is generated and the item does not display in the customer's eFollett history.
You can only add items that meet the following criteria:
- A valid SKU number
- In-stock or on order
- Access the SODA
Picking Confirmation screen for the order you want.
Tell me how...
- Click Add
line Item.
- In SKU
field, type the SKU for the item and press Tab.
-or-
Click SKU Search and search for the item.
- In the Order
Qty field, type the quantity the customer wants.
- Press Tab.
The Description, Unit Price and Extended Price fields are automatically completed.
- Click Accept.
If SODA shows the item as available, the SODA Picking Confirmation screen reappears with the item added to the order. Go to step 9.

If SODA shows the item as unavailable, the SODA Order Allocation window appears. The window shows the quantities of the item SODA has recorded as Available, Ordered and Short. Go to step 9.

Note: On the SODA Picking Confirmation screen, you can add a comment to the customer to notify them of the additions. The comment will appear on the packing slip. Automatic email notification is not generated for items added to an order in SODA.
