CORE POS Receipts
CORE POS offers several customer receipt options. However, always lead with asking the customer for their email address to generate an email receipt. An email receipt can be created for sale and return transactions.
Printed receipts must be generated for text rental transactions to obtain the customer signature in agreement of the rental terms and conditions. If your A/R contact requires a hard copy signature with A/R billing, print the receipt. Select the Print and Email option to print the receipt for record-keeping and send an email receipt, too. Retain any signed printed receipts with your DSR paperwork.
Collecting the customer emails accomplishes several things that are valuable to both the customer and the store. Print the Email Receipt Reminder document and place a copy at each register as a quick reference.
Customer always has a copy of their purchase in email, which can be retrieved for returns, digital purchase details, and rental return date reference.
Customer email collected for rental, digital, and AppleCare transactions, auto-populates on the receipt option screen, so it saves time. You don't need to ask for it again!
Customer email is added to database for marketing emails to inform the customer of promotions and other valuable information. We don't inundate their inbox with an over abundance of emails and they always have the option to opt-out. Also, emails are not shared with third party organizations.
It's sustainable! No wasted paper! (For transactions less than $10, you even have the No Receipt option.)
