  1. Select Yes, No, or NA for every question in the EAS section.

  2. Type an explanation or action item in the Comment column, for any question that you responded No.

    Questions in red font will also appear on a corporate audit if your store is selected. A link to resources to support answering each question are available at the bottom of each question.

Note: If your store does not have EAS, please answer N/A for the following questions.

  1. Are the EAS pedestals and deactivator pads working properly? Are they tested daily? If not, is there an appropriate open service ticket for repair?

  • Confirm all EAS equipment is properly working and is tested daily.

  1. Test 10 pieces of merchandise from each department (1-2, $75 and up, 3-8, $50 and up) to ensure it is tagged with an EAS tag and determine compliance.

  • % Compliance= # of Items Tagged/# of items Checked.

  • 90% compliance is required for passing.

  • Choose compliance % in the dropdown answer box.

  • Select a variety of tagging standards to confirm that proper tagging standards are in place.
