Disable Patron

Disable a patron only if the patron requests that their personal information be removed, and that they no longer wish to receive emails.

Important: You can only disable patrons that have no current rental activity.

1. Select Patron Information Patron Maintenance.
2. To display the patron record, search for the patron.

Tell me how...

1. In the Search By field, select a search method:

- Patron ID

- Patron Name or Last Name

- Phone Number

- Email - if applicable

2. In the open field, type the information relating to the Search By method.
3. Click Find.

For example, if you are searching by Patron ID, type the Patron ID number in the open field.

3. To sort the list, click a column heading.

4. Click the Patron ID to select the patron.
5. Click the Disable Patron button.
6. Select a reason in the Reason field.
7. Click the Disable Patron link.
