PIN Pad Email Collection

Capture of the email information from the customer at the PIN Pad is built into a number of different process flows. The process is very similar in each process flow as detailed below.

Email Receipt

Once Email or Print & Email is selected as the receipt option, the screen to capture the email address includes a PINPAD EMAIL Entry button.

The PIN Pad entry notification screen displays directing the cashier to ask the customer to enter an email address at the PIN Pad.

The PIN Pad displays an entry field and keyboard. The customer enters their email address at the PIN Pad and selects Enter.

After email is entered into the PIN Pad and customer selects Enter, the control returns to the Email ID Capture screen at the POS, populating the email information fields with the details entered on the PIN Pad.

Cashier selects Next to complete the transaction. If necessary, the cashier can also edit the email information before proceeding.
