Price and Inventory Lookup
Google Chrome is the preferred browser. If you normally use a version of Internet Explorer below version 9, use Google Chrome.
The Price and Inventory Lookup screen provides quick access to inventory quantities and prices by SKU, UPC, ISBN, and EAN. A variety of search fields are available to locate merchandise
- Use the Price and Inventory feature to assist customers, e.g. find a comparable item for an XL sweatshirt, when the blue one is out of stock.
- Use the information to review negative on hands.
The quantities are near-real time. The near-real time updating is referred to as “trickle polling.” Trickle polling refers to the process of continuously updating inventory counts from all systems that affect inventory, for example, CourseTracks, SODA, eFollett, and MMS.
To access the Merchandise Management System (MMS) screen, you need either SODA access or view-only access in MMS. Anyone in the store who has SODA access is able to access this screen. If someone in the store needs to use the Price/Inventory Lookup screen and does not have access to SODA, complete a Store SAR to request MMS Level Price and Inventory Lookup access for that person.

After you access the URL one time, you can save the link as a Favorite to use again.
The Login window is displayed.
- Type your SODA or MMS user name and password in the fields.
- Select the Login button.
The MMS menu is displayed.
- Select the Price and Inventory Lookup button.
The Price/Inventory Lookup screen is displayed.
Note: The Store field only appears if the user sign on information is not linked to a specific store number.
- Type or scan information in the Search fields for the item you want to look up.
Note: As data is entered in a search field, results begin to display. Click on a result to populate the field with that suggestion.
- Press the Go button.
The search results display in a grid listing all SKUs for the entered search criteria. The search result grid can be sorted by clicking on any of the column headers. - Click a row in the search results grid.

8. Click the Clear button to reset the entire page, removing all search criteria and results.
