CORE POS Back Office Overview
CORE POS Back Office (BO) provides a means of assessing, maintaining, and monitoring store business. BO is used primarily for operations, administration, and reporting for the POS system. BO functions include opening the store, reconciling tills, setting up team member security roles, running reports, and closing the store.
BO is a web-based application that can be accessed from any workstation by team members with the proper security. An icon displays on all store workstations that links to your store-specific BO application. You can access both Back Office and Point of Sale from the same workstation.
Important: You must access CORE POS Back Office through Internet Explorer. Accessing the application through Google Chrome causes issues, therefore, do not use Goggle Chrome. If you use the CORE POS Back Office icon on the workstation, the correct browser is used.
No store activity takes place at the CORE POS server unless directed by the Follett Support Center.
