Major Accounts Overview
The Major Account is created based on the Credit or Prepaid Agreements.
Every customer must be assigned to a major account. One or many customers can be assigned to a major account. A customer cannot charge a purchase until they are assigned a major account.
The major account controls the end date for charging for accounts. Once the end date passes, the customers assigned to the major account can no longer charge.
The GVP (group vice president) must review and approve all new third party major accounts (non-campus and non-government accounts) with a credit limit of $250K or greater. The information on the major account must also be communicated to the home office via email at ARDept@follett.com.
