What information is available in a customer's major account?
- End Date (Last date the customer can charge)
- Credit Limit
- Charged Amount
- Available Balance
- Tax Exempt
- On the CARP main menu, select Customer.
- Select Search for Customers.
- Type the search criteria in the appropriate fields and select Search.
- Select the customer's Edit Account icon :
The major accounts that have been attached to the customer are listed. View field definitions.
|Major Account||Select the name of the major account the customer is assigned to.|
|Start Date||The starting date for charging purchases.|
|End Date||The last date for charging purchases.|
|Credit Limit||Enter the dollar credit limit on the customer account.
Store managers are required to utilize the information of the Account Agreement.
If a credit limit is provided by the account contact/customer by customer, the account must be set up in accordance to such.
If a credit limit is provided by the account contact/customer as an estimate for the overall major account, allocate straight-line across all the customers.
If no credit limit is provided, utilize prior year activity to set the limits or the best practice of using $500 or less per term.
|Charged Amount||The balance the customer has charged on the major account.|
|Pending Amount||Dollar amount of purchase that has not been finalized.|
|Available Balance||The remaining credit balance.|
|Tax Exempt||Indicates whether the purchases are tax exempt or not.|
|Disabled||A check in the box indicates the account is disabled.|
|Source System Account Value||For national VA major accounts where the bookstore is billing the Tungsten Network, ensure this field is populated with the PO/authorization number.|
