When would I need to cancel a back ordered item in multiple orders?
When you determine that you will not fulfill orders for a backordered item, use the following procedure to cancel the item in all the orders where the item appears. The customers will be notified of the cancellation via email.
- From the SODA main menu, select Cancel
Backorders by SKU.
- The Payment Declined Cancel Reason Code will display as a default.
In the blank SKU field, type the SKU of the backordered item you want to cancel.
Place the cursor in the Cancel Reason Code field and click Search.
- Select the reason for the cancellation and click Select.
- Click Submit Cancel.
- Click Clear Screen
to return to the SODA main menu.
