Reconciling ASN Shipments
You can view all received and not received ASN shipments on the ASN Research and Reconciliation screen. There is information and functionality that can help you review and process ASN shipments. This menu is also beneficial to locate open ASN shipments and complete the receiving process when an SSCC label is missing or does not scan.
Access ASN Inquiry & Reconciliation Screen
- Click the ASN Inquiry & Reconciliation button on the main menu
- Or -
Click PO Receiving.
a. From the PO Receiving screen, click PO Receiving again.
b. Select a shipment with the status of Dock Check In Completed.
c. The ASN Research and Reconciliation screen is displayed.
Research and Reconcile Shipment(s)
- Compare the quantity received with the quantity on the ASN.
- Follow the directions in the chart below for the next step(s).

Receive the shipment

Attempt to located the missing carton(s) in your store, including your receiving area, and if found, receive the cartons you located
If you cannot locate the missing carton(s) contact the vendor to report the discrepancy
During ASN receiving, it is possible to scan cartons without selecting the Finalize button. For example, this can occur if the network connection drops or the receiving session is closed in error by the user. When this happens, receiving must still be finalized so that the product is fully received. Receiving can be completed on the ASN Research and Reconciliation screen by locating the carton and selecting the Receive Carton button.
To make finalizing receipt of these cartons more efficient, a Scanned Only category has been added to the ASN? filter on the ASN Research and Reconciliation screen. Select the Scanned Only filter to display cartons that were scanned, but not finalized. In these instances, a receiver was created for the carton, but the product is not been completely received since the session was not finalized.
Note: The Associate column is listed as ScanOpen to also indicate the error.
