CORE POS Overview
CORE POS (Customer-Oriented Retail Experience Point of Sale) is the retail point of sale for Follett stores.
CORE POS is the Follett-branded Oracle POS application used by top retailers. It offers Follett an updated, agile tool to meet and exceed customer expectations. It enables mobility in select stores and eventual remote access (long term).
CORE POS currently provides basic POS functionality, plus email receipt options and signature capture for financial aid and chargeback support. Follett is implementing the standard Oracle functionality, along with Follett-specific requirements like text rental, buyback support, and digital sales.
