CARP FAQ

The username and password used for CARP is your network ID and password, the same that you use to sign onto your computer.
For store team members, use your associate ID and network password.
Unless your username changes, you are not able to change it yourself. You should change your password whenever the system reminds you to do so.

You may not have permissions to log into CARP. Contact your store manager or regional manager who can provide you access.
Note: If the store is part of an A/R group, you are provided access to the primary store in the A/R group, if appropriate, which contains data for all stores in the group.

You do not switch from one store to another within a store group. A store group shares data. When on the main CARP screen, you’ll see all the stores listed for your store group. Anything needed to be done in CARP is done under the main store, e.g., major account setup, customer account setup.

On the Major Account screen, you’ll only see open major accounts by default. To see closed major accounts, click Search for Major AccountShow Closed Accounts check box
Search.

The account might not be flagged in CARP to allow refunds.
- Select Major Account in CARP.
- Find the major account and select the pencil icon.!
- Select the Refunds Allowed checkbox.
- Select Save.
You should now be able to perform returns for this account.
If the Refunds Allowed checkbox is already checked, you are likely past the Sales End Date or the Refund Date for that major account. If so, edit the Refund Date to allow refund processing to continue.
Note: The Refund Date is found in the Misc Data section of the major account.

- Select Major Account in CARP.
- Find the account to flag and select the pencil icon.!
- Locate and select the Include In Transaction Export checkbox.
- Select Save.

The Available Online checkbox is automatically checked in CARP, so no additional action is required in CARP.
For accounts set up prior to April 15, 2020, the Available Online checkbox defaulted to un-checked.
To verify or edit the setting:
- Select Major Account in CARP.
- Select the pencil icon.!
- Select the Available Online checkbox.
- Select Save.
