Performing a Return without a Receipt
If the customer does not have a receipt, you can perform a return by searching for the transaction. Several search options are available:
- Search for a transaction using Search Criteria
- Search for a transaction using the check number
- Search for a transaction using the credit, debit, or gift card number
- Search for a transaction using the item serial number
To search for the transaction using the Search Criteria:
- Select Return.
- Select Search.
- Select Transaction Search.
The Search Transaction screen displays with search criteria. - Search for the transaction using Student ID, Phone Number, or Campus Card.
Based on the criteria selected, details must be provided in the mandatory fields. - Select Next/Enter once the required search criteria is provided.
- Select the transaction and continue with step 4 of Performing a Return with a Receipt.
If you cannot locate the transaction through one of the search options, proceed as follows:
- Select Return.
The Return Options screen displays - Select No Receipt.
- Scan/enter the item to be returned and select Next/Enter.
- Select Tender.
- Enter the customer details.
- Choose the tender.
